EE STARS funds a variety of initiatives, including field trips, classroom enhancements, in-class projects, art activities, books, and materials, as well as visits from artists. Grant approval is based on several factors, such as how well the request aligns with the STARS mission, the available funding during a particular cycle, the number of students impacted, and the cost per student. The STARS Board also ensures that funds are distributed equitably across all grade levels. While some grants may be partially funded, STARS carefully reviews each submission independently. If a grant is denied, we provide clear feedback on the decision.
