Kindergarteners To Experience The Gift Of Giving

The Kindergarteners will be giving the gift of songs, handmade bracelets and cards to local retirement home residents. EE STARS will be fully funding the transportation costs.

Students will experience the gift of giving and serving others by learning friendship songs that focus on sight words. They will also be using sign language to sing many of the songs. Additionally, students will practice oral language skills and introduce themselves to residents and give them handmade art pieces. Chaperones and school staff will be able to watch the Kindergarteners perform the songs and see community service in action.
