Pac Sci Center Science On Wheels: Engineering

A live science show, hands-on class workshops, and a pop-up exhibit to bring tactile learning to our students

Student Grant Recipients Total: 273

Award Amount: $3,075

The Pacific Science Center will host it's second full-day Science on Wheels program at Edmonds Elementary in March 2024 thanks to a fully funded STARS grant award of $3,075.

An all school assembly will focus on our students helping the PacSci educators prepare for the science fair as they design, test, and redesign their innovations. Students will learn about electrical, civil, and aerospace engineering in this interactive show. The Interactive Pop-Up Exhibit will allow students to explore connecting gears, engineering bridges, and trying electrical engineering in a fun exhibit set that encourages problem-solving and building skills. Classes will also participate in a 45-minute hands-on engineering themed workshop, brought into their classrooms taught by PacSci educators.
