Celebrating Culture Together at EE Multicultural Night

Edmonds Elementary’s second Multicultural Night brings students, families, and the wider community together to celebrate the many cultures that make our school special. This year’s event features the powerful rhythms of UW Taiko drummers partially funded by STARS, giving students an exciting, hands-on introduction to Japanese culture through music and movement.

More than a performance, Multicultural Night is about connection—creating space for families to learn from one another, share traditions, and feel a strong sense of belonging. Events like this help students see their school as a welcoming, inclusive place where curiosity and respect for different cultures are celebrated.
