To help build excitement for school and nurture a love of reading, each incoming kindergartener receives a copy of The Night Before Kindergarten mailed to their home before the school year begins. Signed by the principal and paired with a personal welcome note, this thoughtful gesture encourages families to read together, supports early literacy skills, and helps new students feel connected before their first day.
